Getting Unstuck
Growing up, I had an irrational fear of quicksand. I am now 32 and have never encountered it. But I have absolutely found myself sinking under the pressures of relationships, finances, and the weight of expectations. This month, I am writing about what it means to feel stuck, why staying stuck is a choice, and how brotherhood plays a role in getting out. This one is for every brother who has been in the middle and needed a reminder to keep going.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the chapter meetup on May 21st. Nolan Harrison III made the trip down and delivered great information on benefits, and we had 32 guys show up. There were a lot of new faces in the room, and that proves the chapter is growing. Let's keep the momentum going and continue showing up for one another.

Legends of the Gridiron Free Football Camp
A free football camp for student athletes ages 6 to 13, coached by NFL Legends. Registration opens at 8 AM and camp runs from 9 to 11 AM. Every participant receives breakfast, a camp shirt, expert instruction, and lunch. We need brothers to come out and coach. If you are available to volunteer, sign up using the link below.

Our chapter member and assistant football coach, James Lott, is asking for support to help sponsor a high school student to attend the Maurice Flowers Prospect Camp on June 20th. This is a great way to invest directly in a young athlete's future right here in Charlotte.

Richard Huntley · NC Sports Hall of Fame
On May 1st, our brother Richard Huntley was inducted into the NC Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2026 in Greensboro, NC. Brothers Andrew Givens and Donnell Woolford were in attendance to support. Former NFL player Louis Breeden was also inducted into the Class of 2026. Congratulations to both on this well-deserved honor.

Scholarship Presentations
PAF Scholarship Recipients
During the month of May we awarded our PAF Scholarship to two outstanding student athletes. Tatum Alston of Independence High School and Nathan Zehler of Lake Norman High School each received a $3,000 scholarship to help support their college journey. Special thank you to our brothers Charles Arbuckle, Johnnie Lynn, and Edmond Robinson for being in attendance and helping make the day special for these student athletes.
